Summary[]
The mines in the Comstock Lode seem tapped out. With the sharp rise in unemployment, the promise of silver found in the thunderhead could mean boom or bust to everyone in Virginia City. Can the Cartwrights make sure that it's kept?
Plot[]
A couple of prospectors arrive in Virginia City claiming to have found silver in the Thunderhead mine -- a mine supposedly dry. Ben learns that the mine's former owner was murdered and becomes suspicious. He thinks the current owners may be stealing from an adjoining mine.
