SummaryEdit

Candy kills an armed robber in self-defense and, feeling guilty and sorry for the man's wife and son, starts to help out with the day-to-day chores on their ranch. Unbeknownst to him, however, she has written a letter to her dead husband's brother who is all to happy to get revenge against Candy.

PlotEdit

Candy kills Jim Campbell after he shoots at him, killing the man who had just robbed somebody. His angry wife, Lisa, writes a letter to Jake, her brother-in law, which Candy delivers to the post office, not knowing that she wants Jake to kill Candy. Candy feels bad about the whole situation and takes it upon himself to help Lisa and her son Kenny with their chores around their ranch. Eventually, she forgives Candy and even falls in love with him. She tries to stop Jake, but he still arrives and attempts to murder Candy. With a little help from Lisa, Candy foils Jake's plans. He then asks Lisa to marry him, but she declines, stating that, one day, she will have to explain to her son about what happened to his father and having his killer as her new husband might make matters worse. Candy sadly agrees and leaves.
