Personal Information Edit
Early Days Edit
While in New Orleans, Ben shot Simon LaRoche in self defense, but LeDuque always believed that Ben was guilty of murder. LeDuque confronted Ben, and Ben, scared for his life, ran away during a scuffle with LeDuque. When he attempted to run after Ben, LeDuque fell and his gun went off shooting himself in the knee in the process.
Twenty Years on Edit
It takes LeDuque twenty years to come after Ben because of his disability. It prevented him from doing things that would have made him an inspector sooner.
LeDuque came to Virginia City when he heard that Ben Cartwright was to be Governor of Nevada. He had a warrant for Ben Cartwright's arrest, and he mentioned that he knew a secret about Marie, Ben's third wife, and Simon LaRoche.
Due to the secret, LeDuque successfully makes Ben step down from the running of Governor. LeDuque's pursuit of Ben provokes Little Joe since it effects his mothers integrity.
LeDuque pins a murder on Little Joe when he kills his personal guard in self defence, LeDuque tells everyone that he killed Cole in cold blood resulting in the law looking for Little Joe who in turn ran away when LeDuque threatened him with the courts being a platform to air the secret in front of everyone.
After successfully using Little Joe as leverage to get Ben to New Orleans, he exonerates Little Joe. Ben leaves Virginia City with LeDuque.
